Mission Statement

As part of the Fine Arts program at Ringling College of Art + Design,
the Two Columns Gallery provides an exhibition space for students to
participate in the professional practice of creating, curating and installing
dynamic innovative works of art that engage the community.  Through
exhibitions and site-specific artworks, the space acts as a catalyst
for learning about contemporary art and theory as well as demonstrating new
and experimental approaches in the expansion of art.

The Two Columns Gallery creates a visual setting in downtown Sarasota
that emphasizes the development of works of art through an integration
of critical art theory and self directed approaches from the rigorous
studio practice at Ringling College of Art + Design Fine Arts.
